Community Guidelines
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Ghantagram works when neighbours use their Bell to help each other understand, act and participate. These guidelines keep that simple.
Raise useful Bells
Post local, specific and actionable Bells. Choose the right category, add context, and avoid posting the same issue repeatedly.
Be kind and direct
Do not bully, harass, threaten, shame, impersonate or target people based on identity, caste, religion, gender, disability or background.
Keep people safe
Do not share private phone numbers, addresses, documents or images without consent. Do not post nudity, violence, illegal activity, scams or restricted goods.
Use polls responsibly
Polls are neighbourhood signals, not formal elections. Keep options clear, avoid manipulation, and do not use polls to target or expose people.
Respect communities
Community owners and admins may manage membership and local rules, but all communities remain subject to Ghantagram safety standards.
Report instead of escalating
Use reports and blocks when something feels unsafe. Ghantagram admins and community admins may hide Bells, comments or communities while reviewing them.
No ads or influence games
Ghantagram is not for spam, deceptive promotions, engagement farming, fake information, view-count chasing or influencer-style reach tactics.
